Budget 2011

On 6th April 2011, the approved mileage rate changed.

Drivers should now claim 45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles travelled.

The mileage rate for drivers of cars and vans was previously 40p per mile for the first 10, 000 miles travelled.

The approved mileage rate for miles travelled after the 10,000 mile threshold is the same as before: 25ppm.

The mileage rates for business miles travelled by bicycle and motorcycle haven't changed.

The Tripcatcher default Rate Card changed to 45ppm on Monday 2nd May 2011.

To change the Rate Card, go to the 'View Reports' section of your Mileage Log.

Then, click the 'Rate Card' link. This will show your current mileage rates.

In the box marked '<10,000 miles', type in your new mileage rate.

The Tripcatcher Mileage Log will use this to calculate your mileage expense claim, and will remember the new value next time you log in.

For more help, watch the Tripcatcher Tour Video on how to Use a Different Mileage Rate.
